Partner story · 2026 Berkeley Omnium sponsor

CycleBar Berkeley, on and off race day.

An indoor cycling studio on University Avenue that sponsored the 2026 Berkeley Omnium, came out to the Berkeley Streets Criterium, and gave the volunteers who ran the weekend a place to celebrate.

For racers

Riding through the rainy season.

The Omnium is in April, so a lot of the build-up happens in the Bay Area's wet months. An instructor-led indoor class is one way to keep riding with other people when the roads are wet.

A studio class isn't the same as a structured, race-specific workout. If you're following a plan, ask your coach where a class fits.

Sunday, Berkeley Streets

A sponsor you could find at the race.

The Berkeley Streets Criterium is the downtown half of the Omnium: short, fast laps on closed streets beside Ohlone Park, free to watch, with racing from early morning to the Pro/1/2 race at the end of the day.

On race Sunday, CycleBar Berkeley came out to the course. The people behind the logo, there in person, on the same streets as the racers.

After the race

A thank-you night for 200+ volunteers.

The Omnium runs on volunteers: course marshals, registration, setup, teardown, early mornings and long days. In 2026 more than 200 of them worked more than 300 shifts.

Eleven days after the crit, CycleBar Berkeley hosted the volunteer appreciation night at its studio, with pizza, drinks and no race numbers.
