Race the Calendar
Northern California bike racing isn't one event. Through the season, racers move from start line to start line: Sacramento, Los Gatos, Berkeley, back to Sacramento, then San Francisco. Every race has its own history, course and character, and every one depends on the same thing: racers showing up.
The NorCal racing journey
Five stops, from March to Labor Day, each put on by a different club. The Berkeley Omnium is one of them, not the whole season. Dates are the 2026 editions; check each organizer for the next one.
Put on by Sacramento Golden Wheelmen
A Sacramento neighborhood criterium, part of the 2024 NCNCA Premier Series, and a good early test of your crit legs.

We'd rather you raced all of them than only ours. Race Sacramento in March and Los Gatos a week later. Come race Berkeley in April. Head back to Rancho Cordova right after, and finish the season in San Francisco.
