The backbone of the Berkeley Omnium.
Hundreds of racers only get to race because volunteers show up first, course marshals, registration crews, results teams, and more. It's a community-built event, and it runs on community effort.
Volunteers make the racing possible.
Both days of the Omnium run on volunteer effort. Registration teams get hundreds of racers checked in smoothly on the Berkeley Hills Road Race morning. Results teams handle hundreds of entries in the system while managing live results and timing at the Berkeley Streets Criterium. None of it happens without people who show up to do it.
Berkeley Omnium doesn't happen without volunteers. Full stop.

All Berkeley Omnium proceeds go directly to six East Bay high school mountain bike teams. Volunteers are what make that possible, the event doesn't happen, and the money never reaches those teams, without people willing to show up and do the work.
