Where products go
Every product has a place on race weekend.
All other prizes are merchandise from event sponsors. That's where product partners come in.
Podium prizes
In the 2026 race information, each of the 16 Berkeley Hills Road Race fields awarded sponsor prizes to its top 3: 48 podium places. All 12 Berkeley Streets races had sponsor prizes too.
The feed zone
The road race feed zone has offered neutral water and bottle handouts to racers mid-race; Stay True Cycles sponsored the feed-zone bottles in 2026.
The kids race and clinic
The kids race has had sponsor prizes, and the kids skills clinic needs equipment and coaching support.
Racers and teams
Samples, giveaways and racer offers reach racers when they're actually choosing what to ride, wear and eat.
Volunteers
Food, drinks and gear for the volunteers who run race weekend are always appreciated.
What works
Products racers actually use.
The best product partnerships give racers, kids or volunteers something they value and use, not something they throw away. Good fits include:
- Nutrition, hydration and recovery
- Apparel, socks, gloves and caps
- Helmets, eyewear and sunscreen
- Tires, tubes, tools and accessories
- Computers, lights and technology
- Gift certificates and services such as bike fitting or coaching
- Food and drinks for racers and volunteers
- Kids' helmets and equipment for the clinic

How it works
Four steps to race weekend.
- 1. Tell us what you'd like to contribute: The product, roughly how much, and what you hope it does for racers or the community.
- 2. We suggest where it fits: Podiums, the feed zone, the kids race and clinic, racers or volunteers: wherever it'll be used and remembered.
- 3. Agree the details: Quantities, sizes, timing, delivery and how your company is recognized, agreed with the organizing committee.
- 4. Race weekend: Your product reaches racers, families and volunteers.

Kids and juniors
Products for the youngest riders.
The free kids skills clinic and kids race need equipment, prizes and treats, and junior podiums matter as much as elite ones. Kid-appropriate products and gear for the clinic go a long way.

Questions from product partners
Can cycling brands provide products instead of cash?
Yes. Product partners have provided podium prizes, nutrition, sunscreen, feed-zone bottles, the official jersey and ice cream for the kids race. Products racers actually use are the most valuable.
How many podium prizes does the Berkeley Omnium need?
In the 2026 race information, 16 Berkeley Hills Road Race fields awarded sponsor prizes to the top 3, 48 podium places in all, and every Berkeley Streets race had sponsor prizes. Field lists for each new edition come with registration.
Do product sponsors get recognized?
Yes, and how is agreed with you. 2026 sponsors were recognized on this website and thanked over the race-day microphone and on the club's social channels.
Can nutrition brands sample products at the race?
Sampling is one of the ideas we're glad to discuss. Every activation is agreed with the organizing committee before race weekend.
