The story
Race it. Support it. Help build it.
Dolce Vita Cycling is an Elite and Development amateur team based in San Francisco, riding and racing since 2004. Its Elite team races Categories 1 and 2, and its Development team covers Cat 3, Cat 4 and Novice riders. Its own summary of what it does: riding, racing and giving back to the community.
At Berkeley, Dolce Vita shows up in numbers and at every level, every year from 2022 to 2026: the Pro/1/2 field, masters, Cat 3, Cat 4 and Novice. And one of the people who organize the Berkeley Omnium, Jason, comes from Dolce Vita.

Not just on the start line.
Most teams race the Berkeley Omnium. Dolce Vita also helps make it happen: Jason from Dolce Vita Cycling is on the team behind the 2026 Omnium, and here's how the Berkeley Bicycle Club describes him.
Great bike races survive because teams don't only race. They volunteer, organize, mentor riders and show up for each other's events.

Every level, every year
Elite racers and development riders.
Dolce Vita races the top field at Berkeley: Jason Tang was 4th in the 2022 men's Pro/1/2, 10th in 2024 and 11th in 2026, and Gabriel P. was 2nd in Masters 35+ 1/2 in both 2025 and 2026.
The development team shows the pathway. Zachariah Ooi raced Cat 3 at Berkeley in 2023, was 6th and then 5th in Cat 3, and lined up in the Pro/1/2 in 2026. Pierantonio Di Prima won the 2023 Berkeley Streets Novice race and the 2024 Masters 35+ 3/4 race there. In 2024, Jacobey Johnson was 3rd in Cat 4 at the Berkeley Hills and won Cat 4 at Berkeley Streets the next day, and in 2026 Benjamin Yee did the same in Masters 50+ 3/4.
